Alfie, the Chief Operating Officer of Moonshine, is a Cinematographer & CAA Licensed Drone Operator.
Alfie's journey in these fields began as an apprentice under the mentorship of his brother Jack Smith, a seasoned Director of Photography (DOP). Through this apprenticeship, he gained comprehensive knowledge of the craft, honing his skills with high-end camera systems and accumulating a diverse range of credits along the way.
Building directly through the fire of on-set experience, he learnt how to thrive in the industry & develop the skills necessary to provide an eclectic service.
Thus, it is not surpising that Alfie has inherited the grip, tenacity & get it done attitude that is so iconic with Moonshine. Which is perhaps why he is also referred to as Mr Tenacity.
Alfie is a man of structure & ensures the administrative side of the business runs harmoniously with his organisational prowess.
On his off-time you can catch Alfie rollerskating, boxing or watching the odd film.
