Seed Enterprise Investment Scheme

Moonshine Film Ventures has been approved under the UK government's Seed Enterprise Investment Scheme (SEIS) to develop a slate of high-quality vertical and cinematic dramas for global streaming and feature adaptation.

We are raising £250,000 to establish a repeatable production framework. Creating multiple short-form & feature projects under one scalable studio model.

The company also plans to utilise the UK's Independant Film Tax Credit (IFTC), which rebates up to 40% of eligible UK production expenditure.

Together, these two mechanisms (SEIS & IFTC), allow investors to benefit from 50% income tax relief & enhanced capital efficency through the film tax rebate, while supporting genuine British creative innovation.

Platforms like TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube Shorts have created a massive appetite for story-driven, premium vertical content, yet few production companies can deliver it with true cinematic quality.

Moonshine Film is among the first in the UK to combine cinema-standard storytelling with the vertical format, capturing a fast-growing global audience

This is a repeatable business model, not a single film. Each project contributes to a growing library of UK-owned intellectual property and future licensing potential.

Vertical dramas represent a unique early adopter opportunity, the space is open, the audience is ready, and the timing is perfect.

With its own kit, crew, and proven production experience, Moonshine Film is ideally positioned to lead this emerging format and deliver both creative and financial returns.

The Pilot Slate

Format: Vertical Drama Series (9x Vertical Episodes)

The first phase of the Moonshine Film Ventures slate will develop a Pilot Vertical Drama.

This project capitalises on the rising popularity of vertical dramas in the UK.

The production brings together Moonshine Film’s award-winning in-house crew, a network of experienced directors and cinematographers, and cutting-edge camera and lighting technology.

The story will high-concept drama with commercial narrative hooks, appealing to both digital-native viewers and international film buyers.

Production is scheduled for early 2026, with the feature adaptation targeted for Q4 2026 release.

What Moonshine Film Provides

Moonshine Film has quickly become one of London’s most respected camera and crew providers, trusted by top-tier production companies, agencies, and brands.

Now in 2025, expanding into original IP and vertical-drama production, leveraging its established infrastructure and creative talent base to deliver high-end projects at unprecedented efficiency and value.

Following approval under the SEIS scheme, Moonshine Film is opening this exclusive early-stage investment to a small group of private investors who wish to participate in the next wave of British independent production, combining cinema-quality storytelling with short-form innovation.

Revenue & Recoupment Model

Investor funds will be used to establish the Moonshine vertical-drama production framework, enabling continuous creation of short-form and feature-length content.

All incoming revenue including streaming, international sales, sponsorships, licensing and feature distribution will first flow into a recoupment pool, distributed as follows:

1. 100% of investor capital is repaid first, ensuring investors recover their full initial investment before any producer participation.

2. Once capital has been repaid, net profits are shared 50/50 between the investor group and Moonshine Film Ltd.

3. Investors retain ongoing profit participation in perpetuity, meaning they continue to benefit from all future revenue derived from the project — including its feature adaptation, licensing, or remakes.
